Karsten's all-blue mini-stack
"Finally I have finished the P1800 project. I love the flexibility of this amp. Thank you! Here are some photos you might like. The design matches a former cabinet-project. Unfortunately I had to make the headshell a bit wider due to the chassis dimensions."

Antti's PP-18 for bass
I often get asked when I'll do a bass amplifier kit. For now it's some time off, but some customers - like Antti - get good results from the 18W circuit.

"A few years ago I built a model PP-18 and I modified it with 2W / 9W / 18W switchable output switch. This winter I finally got 'almost' completed Fearful 15/6 -bass cabinet and I have tested PP-18 with Fearful at home. I have tested PP-18 through that good bass cab and I can not hear any lack of low frequencies when played with low volumes.

"My 1977 Fender Precision sounds like Precision bass, there comes lots of lows and THE thump with Pyramid flatwound strings. And my 1982 Aria Pro II SB R-60 hits with lots of mids and I can hear first time that it really is a Aria Pro II. I have played with tone full open. There is no need for any kind of EQ. Just bass, simple amp and good cab. That is all I need."

Harmen's classic 18W combo
"I recently finished your P1800 kit and it sounds great! Having only soldered some XLR cables in the past, I was an absolute beginner but the excellent step-by-step walkthrough made it a successful project. Nothing had to be redone and I didn't get shocked!

"To complete the package I ordered a 1974x style cab from Chris (great quality and decent price) and put a Greenback in it."

Alexis' SuperPhonic amp
"I don't know if you remember but some time ago, last summer, I said I'd send you some photos of your amps I've made and that I was putting a web site together. Finally the web site is published and I have put a few links to your site. If you have time please take a look - http://www.superphonicguitars.com - the Zodiac Head is the P1800."

"Here are some pictures of the new amp and the case. I decided to install it in a flight case that can be closed up. It opens from the front and rear. Ok now I am not a newby any more I want to build another amp got any ideas from your collection? I hope you like the pictures and feel free to share them. I also built both of the guitars in the photo as well."

John's 18W combo
"Amp is finished and installed in cabinet from Chris Uff. Just wanted to let you know that I am really pleased with the result. The range of tones from super clean to nicely dirty, and the range of volumes - from something that doesn’t annoy my wife to LOUD - make the amp very versatile.

"Many thanks for a great kit, and for your amazing support as I muddles my way through the build process. I have no doubt that I’ll be back for another kit in a while – just as soon as I’ve worked out how to explain to my wife that I really do need yet another amplifier!"
