Customer clips
This is Erik's modified version of the SL-18. "Here is a little update on my 18W build. I haven't really given it much time, I've had my hands full with two amps from the 70's. The bass is a bit flubby on the first clip, but the simple solution was to back down the bass knob. I could also go for bigger filter caps. But first I'm gonna try and add a small choke." George Beavis very kindly gave Amp Maker a big plug in the Letters page of Guitar Buyer magazine in May 2011. Not only that, but he's uploaded a great video clip of his SL-18 build to YouTube. It's especially useful as I haven't had a chance to record any SL-18 clips myself yet!
