I deal with most orders via email to ampmakerNOSPAM@firstmail.com (take out the part in CAPS before sending
your message!).
At each stage of the process - order confirmation, payment receipt (and clearance), shipping, etc - I'll keep you informed by email. Once you have received your order, I'd welcome feedback on the Amp Maker site, the products and the service. I've already added several items at customer request and refined the amp kit instructions based on builder's suggestions. All suggestions are gratefully received. :)

There is no minimum order amount
Important note: When you email me, I will try to reply promptly. However, over-zealous anti-spam systems have sometimes blocked my reply to customers. This is very frustrating, especially because often I don't know until my message bounces back. This can be days later (and sometimes never). So, if you don't receive an email reply from me within 2 days, please resend your message with a telephone contact number.

Shipping and delivery costs
I'll let you know the exact figure for shipping your order in my reply. Because I charge P&P at cost (see My P&P policy, right), a handful of components might cost as little as 64p to send within the UK or £2 overseas by Airmail. At the other extreme, an SE-5a amp kit or head cabinet costs £11 (insured) within the UK and approx £24-30 for Europe. If you want to get an idea of likely costs, see:

| My P&P policy |
I don't profit from shipping. Postage is charged at cost, plus any new packaging (e.g. £1.50 for a new box for an amp kit). However, I re-use packing materials wherever possible, so for many component orders, shipping is purely the cost of the postage.
Of course, if you're local to Woodbridge (on the A12 near Ipswich), you can collect, there is no shipping charge. Just let me know in advance.

How to pay - UK
UK customers can pay by:
* Cheque - order sent as soon as the cheque clears (works fine but can be slow)
* Online banking - much faster than cheque payments, and ideal if you already have online banking set up - ask for details
* PayPal - see PayPal notes (below)
* Cash - for in-person collection

How to pay - Overseas
For overseas buyers, payments must be made in UK £ (pounds sterling). The easiest ways to do this are:
* Online banking - usually faster and much cheaper than wire transfers (ask for details)
* PayPal - see PayPal notes (below)
* Bank wire transfer - ask for details
Make sure to include your full delivery address (including postal or Zip code), so that I can get an accurate shipping figure.

To accept PayPal, I must ask that you have been through PayPal's verification system. You can find information on this on the PayPal verification explanation page. And all payments must be sent in £ (GB pounds) - it's an option on the PayPal screen.
Although there is no minimum order amount, be aware that PayPal sets a minimum fee. This makes it uneconomical for me to accept PayPal for orders under £20.00 - however, if your order is under £20, and you want to use PayPal, just add £0.50 extra to your payment to cover PayPal's disproportionate fees.
