1N4007 rectifier diodes

Popular and low-cost diodes for rectifying, clipping; etc

Little to say here: the conventional 1N4007 is used for power supply rectification in many amplifiers. I also stock the ultrafast version, the UF4007. I haven't heard any benefit in my amps when using the UF4007, but some guys like them, and they're now specced in some parts listings, so who am I to argue? :)
      The 1N4007 and UF4007 are both designed for voltages up to 1000V and current of up to 1A.
