This is a small gauge, solid core hook-up wire in multiple colours for wiring up your amplifier projects. All colours have the same ratings and physical dimensions. I stock 11 commonly used colours:

Dimensions & info The cable's overall diameter - including the insulation - is 1.2mm. The wire is solid (one single strand). The insulation is PVC. Rated at 1000V and 1.8A, it's suitable for use throughout the whole circuit for most 1-10W amp designs. The price below is a per-metre figure (For North American customers, 1 metre is just over 3ft).
Some amp builders have a love/hate thing with solid-core wire. Me, too - my first builds were with this wire and I liked that you could get perfect 90-degree bends, and very tight twists. The reason I've added it is that it's perfect - and by far the most suitable - for wiring to the small miniature DPDT switches. There are no strands to worry about and with a single solid wire, soldering to lugs is a lot easier and quicker. That minimises the risk of damaging the switch through prolonged heat.
