50W push pull output transformer
Dual 3.4k or 4k primary, 4, 8 & 16 ohm outputs, ideal for 50W builds
Another output transformer at a clearance price, this is a SUBSTANTIAL output TX that I got made for a custom 50W project. I’m now selling off the small run of unused transformers. It’s designed for use in a typical 2 x octal valve power amp, but will work fine in any push-pull output stage that requires a 3.4k or 4k ohms primary impedance and up to 50W output. It has 4, 8 and 16 ohm speaker taps. It’s in a shrouded stand-up style, with ‘bell covers’ on both sides and has flying leads (substantially more expensive to manufacturer, but my preference for higher powered transformers).
Dimensions & info
This is a large and heavy output transformer: 98mm tall, 105mm deep and 80mm wide. The fixing centres on the bottom of the bell covers are 60x72mm. It weighs approx 2.9kg. All connections are by wire (approx 150mm long).
