It sounds as I expected: mellow-mellow.
“I’ve done a new blank chassis to fit the old ‘chinese SS Fender clone box’. A new overall layout, then drilling and filing, and well, the result is quite right for me. Some tweaking and a new (wonderfully mellow) Eminence Lil Buddy 8 Ohm speaker, and I’ve got a sort of a ‘bar-lounge-filled-with-smoke’ jazz machine!
