Mike Howson’s Princeton with VVR

“Hope you are keeping well. The Princeton was finally finished 3 to 4 weeks ago. I’ve attached a few photos as I thought you may like to see the end result. In the amp are a selection of your parts – PT, some of the Switchcraft jack sockets, the turret board, orange drops, valve sockets, chicken head knobs, valves, and probably a few other things I’ve forgotten.

“It all took very much longer than planned, but has worked out well and sounds very good. It may be smaller than the SE-5A combo I built, but it still hardly qualifies as light!”

Very pretty combo and I really like the details – including the engraving of the Terry Pratchett quote on the back. Mike also added VVR – a circuit for reducing the amp’s power output by lowering the power supply voltage.
