Actually, if you look closely it’s not curved, but the combination of the radii on the blonde wood makes it look like it is. Richard’s woodwork skills help to get such a super smooth result.

The basic idea behind this was to design a light weight unit (3.5lb), with minimal bracing (1), good sound projection and using a banjo neck for easy strumming chords.
