Stephen’s recycled pine cabinet

“I’m loving playing the WF-55. It’s a great little amp and just perfect for playing at home and not disturbing the neighbours too much (I hope).
To build the combo cabinet I decided to make use of some old timber that we had in the garage left-over from repairs and renovations to an old house. I glued pine planks to create the panels and the internal speaker baffle and hand-cut everything due to the brittleness of the old timber and the thin 3-ply front and back panels. The front and back panels are felt-lined to prevent any resonating buzzing. I used a Jensen C10Q speaker to complete the build. After a couple of months I added a variable negative feedback control to the circuit and also a resonance control to experiment with the tone.  Many thanks for providing this brilliant, great quality kit!”
