Colin chose an old Epiphone Valve Jr combo for his WF-55. “The amp sounds great, far better than the Epi Valve Junior. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to build the amp and for having the patience to help me sort it. It has to be one of the best sounding amps I’ve heard. I will now go forth and spread the word.”
UPDATE: Colin later modified his WF-55 with a simple tone control – effectively turning the Champ circuit into a tweed Princeton circuit. “I fitted the tone control to the amp last night, it sounds fantastic, but with more versatility. I absolutely love the amp, It’s a keeper for life. Thanks once again for giving me the opportunity to own one of the best sounding amps I have ever heard.”
